A really well crafted ensemble performce, accompanied by a beautiful misical score. I really enjoyed this film. They were able to convey the fun and dram of the period, beautiful, simply beautiful. It makes a change to see real actors/actresses rather than glut of cgi blockbusters that have been around lately.

I really loved this movie! It made me want to go out and read the book. I loved Lee Pace in this movie. I think he should have gotten equal billing with the equally wonderful Adams and McDormand. I especially love the scene in the beginning of the movie when McDormand bumps into Pace.

It was an amazing movie! Personally, I do not see how people would think of Miss Pettigrew as a thief or at least I hope they would not. In my opinion, she did not steal anything from anyone; she actually provided some people around her with something that they were lacking but disparately needed in their lives... I found some of the things that she had said in the movie to be very powerful and something for all of us to remember!

In the beginning of the book Miss Pettigrew is told that there is something for her that day and she is sent to the wrong house by mistake. Why did you change that to where she steals someone else's job? Now people will think Miss Pettigrew is a thief.
