At a Premiere screening tonight of this movie to which my wife and I were privileged to attend and is due to open to the public here tomorrow, I have to say that it is a very long time since such a delightfully touching movie such as Miss Pettigrew Lives for A Day, left us with a sense of such wellbeing and lightheartedness. The film for us anyway, contains a rich mixture of witty humour, charm and unusual tenderness. The soundtrack and the featured music of the era, in my opinion was excellent and beautifully executed by an obviously polished and talented collection of musicians. The cinematography, casting and direction was nothing short of brilliant excellence! This movie is very definitely one of the best in its category that has been produced in years and is well worth attending. We loved it!
